IMPLICATIONS
You must keep up arranged payments with your lenders whilst any investigations are ongoing then there should be no adverse implications as a consequence of issuing claims proceedings. See Administration of Justice Act 1970 for more details.
REMEMBER
- If you stop making payment whilst investigations are on going then your credit file will reflect the missing payments and this can have a dramatic effect on your credit reputation.
- Failure to make normal arranged payments to your lenders could increase future interest rates offered to you, should you need to borrow money any time in the future.
- KEEP MAKING PAYMENT UNTIL SUCH TIME AS YOUR LENDER ACCEPTS THAT YOU NO LONGER NEED TO CONTINUE TO PAY THE DEBT IN QUESTION.
