UNFAIR CREDIT AGREEMENTS
UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS
If you choose to instruct monsterclaims.co.uk our Intention would be to establish whether or not the credit agreement is consistent with specific rules displayed in the CCA 1974; for example:
- A credit card agreement must have the correct heading "Credit Card Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974" or similar variations depending upon the type of agreement.
- It must show the credit limit or define where it can be found.
- It must show the interest rate, or where it can be found.
- It must show a repayment timing and amount, or how it can be calculated.
- For certain agreements, there must be the relevant right to cancel.
- It must be signed by the debtor.
